The Z-Edge Z4 performs well, most of the time. The only thing is, that it stops working when the temperature gets into the mid 80s and above. I need to check it often when driving for anywhere above 10 to 15 minutes. Then I unplug it and plug it in again. I have removed it frm the windshield when I know I will be away from the car for a while. This happens even with the AC on.
For some dash cams, heat is an issue. Having to remove the dash cam to ensure proper functioning and longevity does not provide the opportunity to capture anything while your vehicle is in park mode. One idea could be to mount the dash cam directly behind the rear view mirror and use a windshield cover to keep the interior of the vehicle cool, especially when you are away from it for long hours at a time. The APEMAN 1080P Dash Cam does not seem to suffer from that issue though.
