This year, 2018, Prime Day starts on July 16th at 3 pm ET and ends on July 17th at 2:59 pm so get ready. Of course it’s going to be bigger and better than last year with lots of surprises in between.

So many deals and so little time, so here’s how you can pay less for your prime picks so yo can get the most out of Amazon Prime Day.
First cover the basics:
Step 1: Become a prime member.
Of course if you’re already a member, then you are covered. But if you’re not a prime member and you want to access these deals, then you need to become one. So if you haven’t signed up for Prime Membership, then you want to do that to reap the rewards.

Step 2: Download the free Amazon App
Dowload the free Amazon App to preview and shop for deals. There are several ways in which you can download the App; you can download it from the APP store or get it on Google Play. Or you can simply click right here to go directly to Amazon and do it from there.

Step 3: Check the date on your calendar

Get a sneak peek of select deals
Of course you won’t know everything that will be on sale on Prime Day, but that’s part of the surprise. Even so, there are a few ways you can preview and shop for the deals you are after. Believe it or not, you can actually sneak peek deals via the Amazon App.
Use the Amazon App to make your wish list by simply adding the items you are interested in to your list a week in advance. Doing this allows you to get alerts when your items go on sale on Prime Day.
Once your alerts are set up, you can watch the deals you like and shop where and how you want.
Watch the deals you like
Never miss a deal! On Amazon Prime Day you’ll get a preview of a whole lot of deals before they even start. All you need to do is watch the ones you like to get notified when they go live, so you never miss a deal.
You can do this by turning on the notifications tab on the Amazon App you downloaded. It’s a simple setup. On the APP, click on settings, then go to notifications (turn on notifications for your “Watched and Waitlisted Deals. Once you’ve done that, add upcoming deals to your watch list.
You’ll see the deals that are happening at that point in time (real time), what’s upcoming, as well as what you’re watching. You’ll get a notification when the deal you’re watching is coming up. Once you’re deal is up, all you do is click on “add to cart” and that’s it.
Check for deals on Specific items
Okay so you may not have had an item on your watch list. In that case, all you need to do on Prime Day is search for the item on Amazon.com and look for the Prime Day badge; indicated by the “Prime Day Deal” notification.
Share your benefits
If you didn’t already know, you can invite an adult or teen in your household to share your prime benefits at no extra cost. All you need to do is create your Amazon Household account.
Once you’ve done that, you can share your benefits and digital content (A Household allows you to connect and share Amazon benefits with the whole family. Two adults and up to four teens and four child profiles may link in a Household).
